Description: There’s nothing quite like a fresh bagel to start the day or provide a pick-me-up at lunch. Bagels are mixed from scratch, then boiled and baked on a stone hearth the old-fashioned way. You’ll have around 15 kinds to choose from, and you can order your bagel plain or spread with any of 15 flavors of light (less fat) cream cheese or another topping such as hummus or honey peanut butter. Or order it stuffed with a sandwich filling such as turkey, pastrami, roast beef, veggies, or cream cheese and lox. Soups and fat-free pasta salad round out your meal, but if a snack is all you need, try something from the bakery case, including scones, rolls and cookies. A full espresso bar offers java or tea or a refreshing Italian soda. Smoothies are available. The shop is open daily, except Sun, for breakfast and lunch. Smoking is prohibited.
