Description: An expanded menu makes this an exceptional eating experience. Check out owners Chris and Lisa Holbrook’s daily specials and the four or five soups handcrafted each day. The decor is marked by bright colors; fuchsias, blues, and teals, with accents of black, complement the movie star portraits from the 1950s and ’60s that hang on the walls, and a beautiful jukebox in the dining rooms. You’ll find cold and grilled sandwiches, as well as the signature sloppy joes. Lemonade, iced tea, coffee, soft drinks, beer, and wine are available, as are homemade pies, and cookies. Meeting rooms and catering are available. The Beanery is smoke-free and located in the lower level of the historic Fairmont Creamery Building on the corner of Main and Second Streets. Check out the dinner show each Friday and Saturday night, starting at 6 p.m. Open 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mon through Fri.
