Cold and hot holding equipment used for PHF/TCS foods are equipped with at least one temperature measuring device that measures temperature in the coldest part of a hot holding unit or the warmest part of a cold holding unit and located and designed to allow for easy viewing. Observation: Thermometer in refrigerator does not work.

Test kit provided and used to measure sanitizing solution concentration Observation: Chemical sanitizer test strips are required for testing proper concentrations. Currently the facility uses both Chlorine and Quaternary Ammonia - each require different test strips.
Foods prepared in a private home may not be used of offered for human consumption Observation: Observed frozen sweet corn that was prepared in a volunteer's home and brought onsite for redistribution. Manager agreed to remove from the facility and not serve to the public. Only food that has been processed in an approved facility can be served to the public.
