Note: This follow-up inspection was conducted to assure the cooler was repaired. This inspector received and invoice from this operation on 5/24/12. This inspector also spoke with the manager Jackie on the 5/24/12 to scheduled this follow-up inspection.
Today the cooler was holding at 38°F, and this inspector did not observe the cooler was leaking. Thank you for your compliance in correcting this violation.

R/*3.0/3.2/4.4 Observed the condenser of the walk-in cooler was leaking into a container on top of produce (melon) in the walkin cooler. Food shall be safe wholesome and unadulterated and stored in a manner to prevent cross-contamination. Recommend to discard any contaminated product, and relocate food products from this area to prevent contamination. Repair this area.
R/4.8 Store the arrangement boxes six inches off the floor to facilitate cleaning and to prevent contamination.

*2.3 Observed on open beverage container on the shelf under the preparation table. Employees shall consume open beverages in a separate designated area, or from a closed container throughout the operation.
*3.0/3.2/4.4 Observed the condenser of the walk-in cooler was leaking onto produce (melon) in the walk-in cooler. Food shall be safe wholesome and unadulterated and stored in a manner to prevent cross-contamination. Recommend to discard any contaminated product, and relocate food products from this area to prevent contamination. Repair this area. Reportedly, repair is scheduled for this week. Provide this office with a copy of the repair invoice during reinspection next week.
*4.4/5.1 Observed the three vat preparation sink was being used for equipment washing and the three-vat equipment washing sink was being used for food preparation. Discussed with PIC to switch the sinks. A preparation sink shall be indirectly drained and the equipment washing sink shall be connected to the grease trap, to prevent contamination of foods.
*7.1 Observed Lysol 4-1 cleaner was stored on the shelf with sticks used for fruits. Relocate toxic chemicals to a separate designated area from food and equipment to prevent contamination.
2.2 Observed employee was wearing numerous rings on their hands. Food employees are not permitted to wear jewelry on their hands and arms except a plain band wedding ring.
4.8 Store the boxes for the arrangements six inches of the floor to facilitate cleaning and to prevent contamination.
5.4 Keep the dumpster lids closed to prevent pest entry. Reportedly the filled dumpster will be picked up today.
