Discussed with the bartender on duty, Melinda, that the faucet in the restroom is required to have water under pressure. Also discussed the importance of cleaning and maintaining the facility free of insects/flies. Will return on or after 6/22/11, at which time such items shall be corrected. Another fee will be assessed at that time. A conference will be held at a time to be determined if the items are not corrected by the next inspection. Provide proof of pest control operations or measures to ensure that proper measures are being taken. Repair the faucet.
The complaint, # 11-0413, is still open and will remain as an open case until resolved.

A routine inspection was done today as well as to address the complaint regarding there no being any hot water or cold water in the restrooms. See the complaint inspection form completed regarding this issue.
HACCP: Discussed proper and frequent use and check of the sanitizer in the facility.
Chlorine bleach is the sanitizer used in the facility.
According to the bartender, Melinda, there is no known pest control service, and that the owner would know more in regards to this.

There were no test strips present in the facility to test the concentration of the sanitizer. Provide to have test strips for use in the facility to properly sanitize all food contact surfaces and equipment.

There was no sanitizer present in the three compartment sink. Correct by utilizing NON SCENTED chlorine bleach and utilize the test strips to test the concentration. Corrected

The interior of the ice machine is heavily soiled. The black soda gun holsters are heavily soiled. Clean and sanitize routinely. The food-contact surfaces of all equipment shall be kept free of encrusted grease deposits and other accumulated soil. Kitchenware and food-contact surfaces of equipment shall be washed, rinsed, and sanitized after each use and following any interruption of operations during which time contamination may have occurred.

The counter tops of the bar storage area are soiled. The sides of the coolers are heavily soiled. The shelving storing the bottled liquor in front of the three compartment sink are soiled. Clean and sanitize routinely. Non-food contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned as often as is necessary to keep the equipment free of accumulation of dust, dirt, food particles, and other debris.
- Single service items properly stored, handled, dispensed
Single service articles are being stored on the floor of the storage room. Single-service articles shall be stored at least six inches above the floor in closed cartons or containers.

This complaint investigation is for RFS # 11-0413. According to the bartender on duty, Melinda, there have not been issues with the hand sinks in the restroom. She stated that there are issues with the ceiling leaking. There is water present to the sink. During the inspection it was noted that the water pressure is slightly low from the hot part of the faucet. There is water present at the facility and all the other sinks have hot and cold running water. See complete inspection form.
Will return to recheck the sink in addition to the treatment of the drain flies to ensure that the facility has corrected the violations.
