Do test quat sanitizer used at 3 compartment sink daily to monitor for proper levels of Quat sanitization to be at levels between 200-400 ppm.Chlorine or bleach may also be used to sanitize glassware and needs to be monitored to be at levels between 50-100 ppm.Test strips can be acquired at Resco and Cash n Carry or any chemical supply store/vendor.

All violations corrected at time of reinspection. This bar is located in a strip mall and a mop sink is available approximately 25 feet from the actual bar's physical location. The designated mop sink for this bar is located in strip mall hallway. All employees must use this mop sink room for any mopping operations. Reviewed with operator that any spills or PVI public vomiting incidents that require a wet mop need to be done using the designated mop sink. No water may be dumped down the handsink in the bar or in any plumbing fixture in either men or women's bathroom. Please post a handwashing only sign at designated handsink next to ice machine. Handwashing may not occur at 3 compartment sink. Handsink is a utility style sink located next to ice machine and in a separate room from main bar area. This needs to be done by 08/08/13.

All hand washing sinks must remain unobstructed and accessible during operation to ensure proper hand washing. * Corrected on-site.The handsink in backroom next to ice machine is also used as the mop sink. A handsink shall be installed inside the bar area per regulation. Section 090.110 of Washoe County regulations states: Sinks used for food preparation or for washing equipment or utensils must not be used for hand washing. The 3 compartment sink cannot be used as a handsink. Section 090.105 states that an approved number of lavatories/hand sinks must be provided and must be installed according to the current edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code and must be located to permit easy access and convenient use by all food/beverage handlers within food preparation areas and utensil washing areas. A mop sink cannot be used as a handsink. Mop water cannot be dumped down handsink or toilet. A designated and separate hand sink and mop sink shall be in place at facility.
