[1] Outside storage area enclosures: properly constructed; clean; controlled incineration Observed garbage dumpster enclosure with loose garbage and trash inside enclosure. Observed dumpster full of garbage. Reviewed with operator to contact property manager to secure adequate pick up frequency for garbage service to ensure that garbage dumpster does not overfill and can accomodate all garbage during all business hours for entire strip mall. All garbage must be contained in dumpster to prevent vermin attraction.
[1] Lighting provided as required; fixtures shielded Observed lights not shielded in reach in coolers. Lights not shielded. Provide light shields or use shatterproof bulbs to prevent potential glass contamination of food.
General Comments that relate to this Inspection All cold holding units checked OK. Reach in dairy cooler recorded at 40 F. Ice cream bunkers observed with frozen ice cream products. Do acquire a thermometer for the ice cream bunker next to the cold drink refer. All dairy dates current and food properly stored off ground. No chemicals stored next to food.Handsink properly stocked with liquid soap and sanitary disposable towels.
