Description: This attraction, which pays tribute to Tennessee’s athletes, is located on the main level of the Gaylord Entertainment Center adjacent to the glass tower. The 7,200-square-foot museum offers interactive games, exhibits on college football and basketball, NASCAR video games, two 30-seat theaters showing sports videos, and more. Description: The closest seashore is at least a 7-hour drive away, but this water park will do in a pinch. It’s a fun place to cool off on one of our hot, humid summer days. Catch a wave, zoom down a slippery slide, or play in the surf. Wave Country has a wave pool, adult slides, a playground, and 2 sand volleyball courts. Inflatable rafts are available for rent. It’s at Two Rivers Park, just off Briley Parkway near Opryland. Wave Country is open daily during the summer beginning on Memorial Day. After the first day of school, the water park is open weekends only. It closes after Labor Day weekend. Admission is half price after 4 p.m. All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
