NO one was more skeptical than I was with some of these things...and I found them to actually work --
EVEN through my doubts! And I mean, wow...even with no belief in them...
that was what amazed me!
I can not make a judgment call until I try something. It's not honest -it's just a opinion, a theory, a supposition, a concept, guessing...seeing is believing, for me.
And yes some crystals have an effect...do all?

The problem, to some extent, Miss Hep, is that there are a lot of ineffective acupuncturists out there, for example. So skeptics who go to the wrong practitioner will come away convinced it's all fake. This, of course, is the problem Houdini ran into: the overwhelming majority of people advertising to be "mediums" were fakes, so everyone concluded there was no such thing as a "real" medium.
When I experiment with alternative medicine, I document the results with lab tests, if there are positive results. I have before-and-after test results in my medical files. I've had doctors look at my test results and just shake their heads, saying "I don't know how you did that", or "you're not supposed to be able to achieve that" (per their education).
But people who are in fairly good health, and don't find themselves falling through the cracks of the medical system wouldn't have any reason to experiment outside the box, as it were. They're lucky. OTOH, it's very cool to discover that various forms of "energy medicine" do get results.

lol Exactly. Our muscles function on the basis of electricity. That's why it's so important that we ingest nutrients called electrolytes every day. The heart's ticker is electric. The brain generates electricity all day. All these elements together contribute to the human electro-magnetic field. This is basic anatomy and physiology.
To the skeptics, I think ALL medicine is energy medicine.
Allopathic medicine still uses energy to heal the body because you can have all kinds of chemical substances which each radiate their own energy, so if the energy harmonic resonates with the diseased body, the amazing body will use that energy to heal itself.
It is just that orthodox doctors and scientists do not understand the method of healing and the delivery is different (chemical pills as opposed to crystals, or whatever). Herbal preparations, homeopathy, crystals, etc each generates a harmonic of the healing energy necessary to heal.
Oh yeah.
Ask any Crystal healer! Or their clients!

Yes. Everything has "energy" by virtue of them being a material. Whether they have healing properties? I'm not sure. I'm into the whole crystal, tarot, witchcraft scene, but I prefer to be more ground about it.
I think that it's less magic and more focusing your intentions, which should change how you view yourself. If you believe that carrying around a Rose quartz will bring love to you, then you will likely see opportunities for romance where you couldn't before.
