At this point, the status quo is sadly the best we can hope for. That's why I voted for Diehl. 4 years of stalemate beats the alternative (just look at the train wreck that is unfolding).

Deval & Baker set the table for this mess with the MBTA. I blame Baker the most since he ran for governor with the promise of fixing these issues with the T.

Outside of a new, dedicated tax to fund the MBTA I don't see any resolution for these issues any time soon.

I put it more on Baker than I do on Deval.

Baker came in with the promise of cutting unnecessary spending within the agency, something I agreed with.

But once he cut the fat, he then needed to spend money to keep the T running properly, something he didn't do.

Baker turned out to be as lazy as Weld. Baker was a big disappointment in so many ways.

MBTA to resume limited service to South Attleboro train station

"Commuter Rail service is returning to South Attleboro Station next month, although on a limited basis.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority said three morning trains inbound to Boston and three evening trains outbound will stop at South Attleboro starting May 20."

"The trains will stop at the platform closest to the parking lot.

Hawkins told NBC 10 News that a new station is still being planned, but it's not fully funded."
