Yes. Have you tried Googling this topic ? Quite a few articles on it. There's actually more articles on MA losing people than Boston losing people. I would think students make up a large portion of the Boston population and they come and go.

Nah people need to leave to make it less populated But more are still piling in. Until Boston gets it crap together with infrastructure we should not be welcoming anyone here. Have a good day !
