this seems odd. I'm guessing it wont happen...but to expect a crowd of thousands to behave in Boston seems unlikely
It's also interesting to me that people are killed every year at the Caribbean festival...but that just happens same place, same time every year. A few people are arrested for disorderly conduct at the st paddys parade and people want to move it?

I think the problem is these parades bring in a lot of riff raff from all over...I'm guessing the misbehaved people weren't from Southie. I'd be pissed if I had vomit outside my door lol.

Yep. This year seemed no better or worse than years past. The usual mess of drunken antics and a few overly aggressive people acting stupidly. We have a friend with a balcony overlooking the route and we've been going every year for the past several years. That's the only way I'd consider doing it now. Sounds like there was bad behavior...but no one died...and they have in other parades in the city and those parades still happen....so I guess I'm confused. Are there just higher standards for the st patricks day parade?
