It's not on Allen Road but it's on Farmville Highway (Dickinson Avenue), it's kind of close to the hess gas station!!!

greenville, nc - Google Maps

I have google street view set in the direction where it's supposed to be located!!! On the land currently there is a sign that is a site-plan saying something like "Southwest Commercial Park"!!!

It took me about 10 minutes, but I found the article of the new development when it was proposed, you can even see the sign I'm talking about!!!

It doesn't say in this article that Ragazzi's is going there but it said it in another one!!!

Oh ok, I know where you are talking about. I really don't know of any other developments out that way. I wouldn't expect much retail expansion right now though. Maybe next year when things hopefully pick up.

Yeah, the economic downfall has supposedly stopped and housing construction has begun all around the nation except the West Coast!!! Allen Road has a lot more homes coming it's direction, but the retail, office, and industrial sectors of the economy are supposed to return at the end of the year, or 2010!!! I'm going to work on a medical district skyline picture soon, and a downtown one also...

Population continues to rise - News | Reflector.com (http://www.reflector.com/news/population-on-the-rise-505804.html - broken link)
Population continues to rise....

Pitt County has added over 20k new residents since 2000

"Rhodes said Pitt County's population “hot spots” include west Winterville around Frog Level Road, the south Allen Road area and south Greenville near Simpson. Looking ahead 20 years, he said there could be 75,000 more people living in the county."

This is not much growth compared to Wake County, but it guess it's good for a area that is the worst economically in the state...but Greenville isn't the worst off economically, and in my opinion Wilson has grown the fastest economically in NC...
