Poindexter Village: Neighbors fear what will follow | The Columbus Dispatch
Poindexter Village was one of the first public housing projects in the nation, but like most others, has proven to be a disaster in terms of high crime and concentrated poverty. The complex is slated for demolition and future redevelopment.
Changing demographics in the area suggest the first signs of gentrification in the neighborhood, like much of the East Side.
