Can't comment on your list of lesser known camera stores, but I want to point out that any source that offers the camera at a lower price is either selling grey market cameras (stuff intended for other countries, privately imported. Usually can't get it serviced in the US) or is a scam. This is because of retail price maintenance, where the manufacturer dictates the retail selling price. So don't bargain hunt. There are none.
Crutchfield is reliable, but I have no idea about those you have posted. The following are as reliable as Crutchfield:
Amazon, B&H, and Adorama.
+1 for District Camera in that list - they're the local I go to. One is in DC, the other one is in Burke, VA.
@OP - backorder it. If there's any kind of demand for it, you're never going to have a chance at one - everyone else will have gotten them, either from backorders or wait lists at the local stores.
Not sure how popular that Sony is, but I know there's a wait for some of the Nikon Z cameras.

Good to know, thank you guys!
I got an in-stock alert in the wee morning hour at 4 AM that the camera was in stock again. By the time I was just about to snap it up, it was gone. There was ONLY 1 back in stock. Oh well, next time around. I kind of hope Best Buy will have it in stock soon because at least I have a coupon for them.
Early this morning, I got another in-stock alert at 3 AM from Best Buy, which is the store I wanted to get it from because I had a little coupon (10% off AND I get points towards rewards from another program I participate in), so I snapped it up! We're extremely excited to start using it!!! Normally, I'd had it delivered, but we're going to pick it up.
If anyone had been following my story, it had been out of stock or backordered from all the retailers we checked.
B&H is a great place to buy cameras and many other things. Their huge Manhattan store is a landmark. Since New York is such an international city, they get shoppers from around the world.
