You seem to have a war going against literally every positive public health measure that has occurred in the last one hundred years. That alone speaks volumes about you.
Your articles prove nothing.
Let's take the case of fluoride. Colorado Springs is a medium to large city in eastern Colorado. The city has naturally occurring fluoride in its water supply. It was observed by a dentist that the rate of tooth decay was less in Colorado Springs than elsewhere in the country. Colorado Springs has no higher cancer rates than any othe city. This was actually the impetus into testing the hypothesis that adding fluoride to the water would reduce the incidence of tooth decay. Based on this it has been proven that fluoride in the water supply substantially does reduce both decay and trips to the dentist. The poor, who often cannot afford dental care, are assisted the most by this intervention.
About twenty years ago, they fluoridated the water supply where I live. Guess what? No cases of poisoning. No increase in cancer rates. A reduction in the rate of tooth decay has occurred in children. The cost of fluoridating the water supply is far less than the decrease in dental bills that has occurred because of it.
Nothing I say will get you to give up your scare tactics. People who want to know though will take time to study fluoridation. Those with an open mind will see its benefits. You cite an article from the Fluoride Action Network. This outfit is a political group headed by a former chemist who has opposed fluoride for years. The Fluoride Action Network is a political group that writes nothing objective about fluoridation.
Did you know that over 200 million Americans (out of 300 million) live in communities now where they drink fluoridated water? I submit if fluoride were dangerous it would now be out of every water supply in this country. The fact that it is not is testimony to how phony your claims are.
This is classic. Activist network finds a couple doctors who found a way to make money pushing some conspiracy theory to add "legitimacy" even though most of their peers don't consider them legitimate. Start pushing the theory everywhere and try to scare people into believing something that "sounds" good instead of what science actually backs up. Also, rely on anecdotal evidence instead of years and years of actual reliable studies.
Unless you dig into the long dark history of this waste by product going into our waters, you don't know. Keep drinking the stuff, most do. Not a couple doctors, researchers, investigate reporters, they are out there.. MANY over many decades.
Just thinking we Americans are all for Freedoms and we are freely being poisoned by the fluriodes being added to our PUBLIC waters for over 6 decades. The battles continue to end it all, but I may never see the end.
