I use All free and clear. Cheaper than Tide and very good!

I use Tide Free and Clear, because my family has pretty dirty clothes and I don't pretreat or rewash.

Between gardening, working on cars, housework, and playing outside I need a heavy duty detergent. I am frugal in other ways.

Persil is supposed to be the absolute best but also has a big price tag, and dont forget foca its very cheap does a greatjob on whites and bedding.

For what reason? I use cheap detergent from the Dollar Tree and my laundry is clean after washing.

TSP= phosphates its what used to be in detergent and has the magical powers to get the dirtiest clothes clean, I only use it in unusually dirty loads, however I use it in every load inthe dishwasher everything comes out clean.

I'm a Tide pod lover. Works great in my water, and if I get a stubborn stain, I CAREFULLY cut the pod open so all packets are exposed and put the contents on the very wet stain, and rub well. I let it sit for an hour or so (make sure the clothing is very wet so it doesn't dry) and then wash.

Got out a very set in chocolate stain that didn't come out with my other faul safe methods.

Never too old to learn something new. Where do you buy it? Thank you.

Depends, as it is banned in many areas.

And I have seen deceptive packaging, with TSP in large letters, then a teeny tiny 'substitute' below it.
The substitutes are not as effective.
