I have three grandchildren but I also still have a life. We hang out with empty-nesters like us, and the subject of kids and grandchildren doesn't come up all that often.

I think it's good that grandmothers are interested in the lives of their grandchildren. They know their problems and achievements.
Well, let them brag a bit. Good feelings never hurt anyone.
After all, children and grandchildren - the main goal of our life. Most of us will not leave behind great achievements and inventions. Only new people we gave birth to.

I tune them out and talk to other people. Same as with anyone else who talks about something excessively.
