Yeah Publix. You are the grocery store expert! So is that true what I was told about the location of a store in Boiling Springs.

Publix and any other successful supermarket does not always locate stores on the "going home after work" side of roads.

In regards to Publix seeking sites in Spartanburg County for additional stores, Boiling Springs and John B. White Sr. Boulevard in Spartanburg have been warm in speculation.

Yes those are two good spots for them. I would put a Whole Foods in the old Toys are Us location.

Still need more Publix in Spartanburg County. Especially in Greer, Lyman, Inman area. Much room for growth and expansion to serve the trade area.

I would not mind seeing a supermarket in Spartanburg's downtown again.

Piggly Wiggly coming to S. Church St food desert in Spartanburg. This marks a return for Piggly Wiggly to Spartanburg county where they operated several stores in the 80's.

PW’s only survive where there is almost no competition, hence the mention of that Spartanburg neighborhood being a food desert.
