Although Houston probably has enough critical mass now to not worry much about the northern suburbs (of suburbs) overshadowing it, I wonder how this would change if I-14 is ever built. that's supposed to go through Huntsville and BCS, so about 40 miles north of Plantersville. it'll be something interesting to watch. the situation kind of reminds me of the IE and how I-15, a major interstate running through several states, doesn't go anywhere near LA but is a wide and major freeway going through sizeable cities that stand alone in the IE metro.

It probably will (slowly, at least in the near term), but regardless, this new Plantersville project is in Grimes County.

Ethnically its not too bad. You have 6 countries whose immigrants represent at least 0.5% of the population. Its actually more ethnically diverse than Brazoria.

Racially its another story.

I figured thats what you meant, but was just clarifying. Montgomery County is not racially diverse at all, but its not that bad on ethnic diversity.

True. The more housing that's commutable to Conroe / Woodlands but located just inside neighboring counties, the more employers will be attracted to Conroe / Woodlands, and that ultimately increases diversity.
