Waiting for our home to sell here so I can get back to the Chicago area...nothing like sports back there!

I miss going to Purdue/Bears/Cubs/Hawks games...not to mention the restaurants/bars.

I think it's great how ND football stirs up passion in everyone ... good and bad.

Ty's recruits .. hmm ... I recall him not using Jeff Samardjia at all his first 2 years and all of a sudden, he turned into an all american wide receiver when Charlie got him ... and Ty's great first year was with Davie recruits ... Unfortunately, those recruits of Ty's are now biting charlie in the arse now.

Just trying to get through this year

Hey Backtochitown, look at the bright side..the Irish scored a TD and that's really a big deal this season.

This season has been so lousy that I told my wife not to get an ND license plate for me. Why? Because I don't want to attract attention and have people ask me what happened to Notre Dame this year. It's too painful for me to discuss. I am going to belt my pants up on top of my head and hide.

My favorite ball cap is a Notre Dame one, and yes I am considering not wearing it anymore this season.

Not because I'm a bandwagon fan but because I can't stand the "what is going on with Notre Dame?" questions anymore. Just today at Starbucks I had to hear it from not only a guy standing in line but then again from the guy behind the register when I got up there.

I have always been a Notre Dame guy...not just for the football but the school and everything else about it. As far as the football goes I've already written this season off. I deleted all Notre Dame games from my DVR schedule that I programmed at the beginning of the season.

Well, they looked better yesterday. Poor Jimmy Clausen looks shell shocked. Welcome to the big time buddy! At least his O line put up some fight during the first half. By the second half, they all looked exhausted. As the season IS a wash, about all I can do is look for little positives, which I did see ... Aldridge ran great, the O line had some life in them, Hughes, looked good.

Prediction, good old Joe Tiller will keep all his starters in for the entire game.

I'll still wear my blue and gold. We'll get through this.
