I saw a TV show some time back about a extended "family" of blacks in Africa who claim they are jewish by blood, not simply religion. I guess they had DNA tests and it proved that was true...wish I could recall the program and exactly what was talked about.

African Jew. French Jew. Irish Jew. Canadian Jew. They're all over the world. I'm Russian Jew (mix), myself. But regarding your comment, of course, not all Africans are Jewish descended.

Yes. These people test as being more genetically Jewish than many who claim that they are descendants today.
I guess there has been so much intermarriage and conversion and the thing about if only the mother is Jewish the kid is too, that these people, being relatively isolated, have more Jewish genes.
And some of their traditions may be more authentic, too.
At first Israel rejected them, but after the proof of genetic testing I hear they are now accepted.
The genes of the Lemba people were matched with those of existing Jewish populations.
I don't know how that plays into the idea that some people have that most of the Jews in the world are actually Khazars and not genetically from the original tribes at all.
Did Khazars also migrate to where these Lemba people were? If not, then it would seem that the gene test of the Lembas would have disproven that theory, no?
The Jewish nation was started from Abraham not Adam/Eve
