In NYC even the city was buying concrete from the Mafia!

From a 1994 article :

"
In its efforts to stop buying concrete from the Mafia, New York City may have ended up buying it from a company that was tied to the Colombo crime family. At least that is what a former mob leader has testified.
City records show that through a subcontracting arrangement, most municipal concrete work this year in Manhattan -- about $1 million in gross sales -- has gone to the Ferrara Bros. Building Materials Corporation. That company, the former Mafia leader testified in 1992, made payoffs to the Colombo crime family in return for labor peace and help in winning contracts."

Also how many OTHER crimes have criminals done for each crime they are actually convicted for.

It's rare that someone is caught the first time.

Giving priority to criminals sends a horrible message to kids too.
Criminals for a plant that should not have been criminalized in the first place.

IMO the criminal element will start to fade once people get acclimated to the legality and it becomes more widely accepted. Alcohol was dominated by gangsters during prohibition and I imagine shortly after it as well too. Right now weed stores are viewed similarly to corner liquor stores, and rightfully so. Once you start seeing lounges and bar-style establishments that offer weed (where you buy a small amount to consume there on the premises) you'll see a higher class of entrepreneurs and workers in the industry.

Or a corner liquor store.

As to who to call, I imagine the DEA, but I don't think it would do much good until Sessions (apt name, btw lol) makes a commitment to cracking down on it. And with the heat he's getting for being generally soft (on things like the misdeeds of the Obama administration and the Clintons), I think it's mostly just bluster on his part.

But if you see thugs/potential thieves loitering outside, it might be worth it to call the cops

Another aspect to be legit concerned about is the theft element, as most dispensaries that I know of are cash-only. With a plethora of places sure to be popping up and corner-cutting entrepreneurs looking to get rich quick, skimping on security could lead to serious issues. Not all dispensaries have proper security systems and personnel.

Lolol you gotta understand, hemp is a perfectly legitimate gasoline substitute (endorsed by no less than Henry Ford) that GROWS WILD.

Big oil can't be having that. Just like the elites wouldn't be having free electricity generated by Nikola Tesla's technology developed way back in 1899.
