Other articles have said a broken cocktail glass was found at the scene which also seems weird. Most people dont take a glass from the bar with them and they hadnt gone into the house yet. I'd like to know where the glass came from..a broken glass could case the lacerations described.

I don't watch much of the genre...some of it early on like the first season of "Making a Murderer" and of course listened to NPR's "Serial", but recently I watched "Only Murders in the Building" and it is excellent.

that's what i was thinking as well...how did she hit him so hard if she was just pulling away. He is described as having blunt force trauma to the head causing a broken skull.

If he was drunk he could have been a combination of passed out from being drunk along with being knocked unconscious.

I'm guessing she was on plenty of meds where she wasn't supposed to be drinking having a brain tumor. There are so many medications out there that you're not supposed to drink while taking them.

it's also an awful coincidence that his sister died of a brain tumor then his girlfriend ended getting one too. Ugh.

I'm sure he would have had a better chance. Although hypothermia was in play, multiple skull fractures ain't good at all.

What with snow and snow banks it would be entirely possible to run over a human and chalk it up to hitting a snow bank, road ruts, etc.

I dont think there was much snow at the time that this happened. 1amish Saturday morning. There were certainly no snow banks yet .

I can see your scenario being possible if you are traveling at speed while having no clue that someone is in the road. Even then, it would need to be a very large vehicle to hit a probably 200+ pound person at speed that would cause multiple skull fractures and believe you just hit a snowbank. In this case the damage on the car is in the rear.

Sounds like just a tragic accident to me. I don't think there is anything sinister to it.

It almost seems like it would make more sense if there was something sinister.
