Seems to be a thing for Presidents to support or criticize a network based on how they report on his activities.

This was the first time in a long time I heard a guest discuss Trump from a somewhat neutral position on his show.

The new network chief Chris Licht has made it clear he wants CNN to move more towards the political center which is understandable. Their ratings are terrible.

there are clearly signs that they're trying to correct their far-leftward lurch. it remains to be seen whether they went too far off the rails to ever get back on track.

CNN was always in the middle. Of course they have been reporting on Trump. The whole world has been. If he wasn't such an incompetent clown, so outragous, and if he wasn't a criminal, they wouldn't be reporting it. CNN dosen't dabble in conspiracy theories like FoxNews. Some opinion shows on CNN may be leaning left.

hilariously wrong again. they 'dabbled' for four solid years, minimum.

one of thousands of examples:

One reason Fox News is popular is they often have guests who present opposing viewpoints. All summer long anytime I turned on CNN during the evening there would be two or three guests basically parroting the same line: Trump is guilty and Maga is bad.

However, recently I noticed a change on the Don Lemon show:

With the way Biden has been acting lately with his dark evil speeches it's no wonder he's being tuned out. Even the speech he gave commemorating 9/11 was authoritarian in nature.

While I believe most people would rather see some unity and compromise, evil satanic Biden will have no part of it.

Biden just wishes he had a propaganda mouthpiece like Fox that constantly pushes his narrative and defends him in EVERY instance. Fox was basically state tv during the Trump years and continues to worship him to this day.

Biden has a whole choir of propaganda mouthpieces that defend his baloney on a daily basis. MSNBC, NYT, WAPO, all the liberal talking heads like Kimmel, Colbert, Fallon, the goofballs on the View. Just because ONE of them pushed back a little, and he goes ballistic.

He has all of them behind him except one, FOX, and they must be causing him some major gas pains. FOX exposes Biden and his clown show cabal for what they really are, and thank God for that. There has to be one network that sane people can watch without hearing Biden's lies and propaganda.

We should all be unhappy with CNN, MSNBC, FOX, NewsMax - they are all worthless, other than a quick scan to get the headlines of the day.

The journalists that sign on the bottom line with these infotainment giants pretty much dump their credo in the trash. We all know the the right words to describe Trump and Bannon and the other thugs in their criminal enterprise are "corruption" and "neo-fascism", but the talking heads will never tell us the truth for one simple reason. The truth scares viewers away, and that is the kiss of death for advertising revenue.

These companies live and die by one axiom: every $$ of profit is a good $$, no matter how it is achieved.

CNN went hard left around 2015ish. Why? Terrible ratings.

In recent years the media bias raters had them tagged further from center than either Fox or MSNBC which previously were in a fight for that mark.
