HDP really isnt very much itself, not when you consider you are in a war zone, but there is a huge tax advantage to it. I got it a few months for cruising the gulf during Desert Storm.

It wasn’t the money but the acknowledgment that U.S. troops are on front lines, despite earlier promises.
It’s called affectionately “the slippery slope”.

First off, let's set the facts straight. Russia invaded Ukraine after being warned not to. This has happened nearly 2 years ago and that war was supposed to be a quick operation. To date Ukrainians are those fighting and dying for their country, not Americans. Those Americans that are on the ground are on their own and are generally involved in rescue or training.

Next this war that you call Biden's war seems to be between Ukraine and Russia. It also seems to be going agains the Russians. So will you please stop trying to carry water for the former president of the US of A.

So American troops in Ukraine could be called advisors then.

And alignment of Biden and Ukraine war is not appropriate because we’re not “directly “ fighting but a proxy war with over $100 billions in U.S. taxpayers’ money. Shall we call it Joe’s donation then?

Joe is more concerned about Ukraine than he was about surrendering Afghanistan. So Biden’s war sounds appropriate.

Or we could call it an investment in the future of Ukraine. But we would not have been here had the previous president been so destructive on NATO and looking to make political points for his reelection campaign that ended in a loss to Joe Biden.

Ahh, it was Trump that called out Europe and Canada for underfunding NATO, thus causing them (convincing them) to pony up more funding for NATO. Good thing Europe began investing in their defense budgets before Ukraine.

And Biden’s lack of forthcoming towards Afghanistan and Biden’s hasty surrender (withdrawal) caught all NATO countries off guard. None of that helped the U.S. allies.

Why is Biden slow rolling actual support to Ukraine? The U.S. still hasn’t sent a single tank yet (as of early September). Still 4-6 months away from the first F16. The Ukraine war is now 18 months in and Biden has slow rolled aid; javelins took forever to arrive, Patriots were sent after a lengthy delay. If really a proxy war, why wait so long to give the lethal weapons?

Back to recruiting, don’t think Biden’s Afghan surrender helped bring in recruits and neither is the slow roll on aid to Ukraine. Hopefully everyone knows the $100 billion already sent (in aid) came out of DOD’s budget.

And to think you had an actual argument. Yeah, he all but broke NATO apart. We still can't trust Turkey. About the M1's yeah I think this is a problem. I wish the administration would give them ATACMs too. Still in spite of the lack of actual US military hardware the Ukrainians are kicking the you know what out of the Russians. It might be slow and it is going to go at the pace they feel they can sustain. But to this day not all of Ukrainian forces are engaged in this. There are a few more tricks these people are going to use on Russia. I stand by Ukraine and the fight for freedom.

Oh and I just noticed the F16's comment, yeah but they will get those from the Dane's They have already agreed to the transfer and are awaiting the training being conducted to the few that are heading to Ukraine.
