The nice thing about this 70+ acre phase of development is it changes up from retail to light industry and office work.

Pretty cool to see this business park/industrial park filling up so well with engineering firms and other industrial type places. I saw over the weekend Woodford Oil company is building a "lubrication plant/facility", no clue if this is replacing an old facility in the area.

There will be a lot more of that sort of petroleum related activity if we can get I-68 extended to the new cracker facility being built across the river from Moundsville.

Default Pipe Yard in the Morgantown Industrial Park

I'm not sure if this has been talked about before but there is a massive amount of pipe on three different pads in the MIP that can be seen when driving into Morgantown. I suspect that this may be for Dominion's Atlantic Coast Pipeline project but does anyone know exactly what it is for?

It sure is a lot of pipe. It's for the Dominion Atlantic Coast Pipeline that will go extend down to North Carolina.

Take a look at the industrial park on google maps. It's truly an impressive pile of pipe.

Google maps only show the lower pipeyard. There is now an equally impressive upper yard.

I checked this place out a couple weeks ago and it's definitely a good option for craft beer lovers. They do half pints and flights for people who want to try a lot of different beers. My only issue is the amount of seating in the place. There are only two tables with seats beyond the bar seats. As an Apothecary Ale House regular, I'm pretty biased when it comes to the best place to get a pint in Morgantown but I'll definitely go back to Beertopia. It adds to what is arguably the best craft beer scene in WV.

I actually live within walking distance of this in good weather (hill above Marilla Park). I'm going to try it soon. I love craft beer.
