Though I had been without power since 4am with that nasty storm last night, but thats ok, power is back, and I've gotten a few hours of work in before touching something electronic. But now I need coffee.....

Anyways....

gf's dad (one who took pictures of the dam at solitude) regularly goes picture hunting in Ken Lockwood and abandoned farms (he loves nature and abandoned farms for pictures) in the area, I'll see if I can get some more to post up. He's going to get around to doing a book of photos at some point...

In the meantime, if you have a player piano, he's created some great music you can punch yourself, its unbelievable imho. Just check out INLUX EDITIONS

Yes, the area is superb.
I loved you FIL's picture, it was stunning!

A couple pictures from Paterson's historic district that I had floating around on my computer. I will try to take a few more as soon as I get time.

I just need picture frames! I have a billion of his pictures, and no frames so I can get them set up around the house....

Plus I need one poster sized in color as artwork in my bedroom, for over the bed (ridiculous 14' or so ceilings)

Now since the doctor made the suggestion I get some exercise (20 minutes of cardio, since my dad's side has a history of heart problems), I've been thinking about a bicycle (instead of the sportsbike) for some riding along the trails, maybe take a few pics on the way....

I'll have to get a bike first though

Default That's funny to me. I find the winters here bright crisp and sunny,

try living in England then you'll really know what a dreary, rainy, gray winter day looks like.

Default You should put them up for sale at the small art shop on the riverside in Clinton

They do lot's of local art. I honestly LOVED the picture you posted.

We do a bit of local riding, Columbia trail in HB is superb for beginners as is the Landsdown trail in Clinton (goes a little more off road towards Pittstown) otherwise it's a very short, flat ride. Gotta take care of those inherited heart problems.
