This has been an amazing fall and still looks like more of the same ahead. No AC or heat needed - just keeping windows cracked and it's been perfect!

I hope you love our 90+ degree summers just as much then, with almost 100% humidity. That’s what we get now because of this. I don’t understand why on earth people are up here, in one of the most expensive areas of the country, if they want warm weather year round. There’s almost no benefit besides the four seasons.

No, I hate 90 degree weather. I don’t like extreme weather in either direction. I love the weather we have in October and November. Fall is my favorite time of year for a number of reasons, weather being one. If I could live somewhere where it never got warmer than low 80’s or colder than low 40’s, I would consider that the ideal climate.

That does help clarify things. Unfortunately in your case, such places are hard to find.

That’s certainly happening today. It’s November 5th, and I have my AC on. I’m counting down until Tuesday, when we will finally get fall like temps again. Not to mention I had a wasp’s nest in my siding a few weeks ago. The exterminator came and sprayed, and I have not seen them again, but this weather just invites more to come and build. In the past, they would die off this time of year, but now can’t with these Florida-like temperatures.

If you would’ve gotten a taste of the brisket I made today thanks to the great weather, you’d be in a better mood.

Looks like we are now at the days of daily in the 40's and most nights below freezing. Plant life is all but dead/dying now, welcome to winter.

I have snow this morning. Bit north of Jersey, though.
