OMG I have just been cracked up bless your heart, that kills me. I agree with the poster about them needing to take your license. Are you parents concerned about the way you drive? Crossing the center line. Wow that is scary. Do you have a race track where you live? Or some open road that you can practice?

I do like the "look the other way" thing.

I've got a similar question, at the end of October I was ticketed for 34 in a 25 (my first and only offense, which is false and I will be contesting). Is there anyway to get some kind of court fee waiver? Does not seem like PJC will eliminate, not that I would want to waste it on this.

This is obviously a pathetic trap set up to charge 10x more in court fees ($150!) than the actual ticket that won't hold up, i'll be annoying the hell out of the court services about my situation until my date is up in hopes of getting a waiver from the judge or getting the case dismissed completely.

In AZ you are allowed to go to defensive driving school once every five years on these kinds of tickets. Completion of the class (which costs slightly more than the ticket) removes the points entirely. Nearly everyone I know here in AZ has done a day at DD school at least once. (in fact, I thought it was a good class and DID remind me to slow down.)

I guess NC has nothing like that?
