I guess "San Diego" doesn't equal "California" either. Sacramento is the epitome of California. Sacramento is classic California is so many ways. Sacramento=Mediterranean Climate. It is Capitol of City of 40 million people. Sacramento history is California history. Sacramento Metro population alone is 2/3 size of the whole state of Oklahoma. In every facet of California history, industry, agriculture, culture, climate, architecture, Sacramento represents.

My best's friend Dad retired to Oklahoma but he is moving back to the Sacramento Area. He moved because of Oklahoma's cost of living, but he says it's not worth it, he would rather spend the remaining of his retirement years in warm sunny Sacramento.

Tonight, Feb 5, 2020

Sacramento: 60F Low: 37F
Oklahoma City: 31F Low: 21F

I wish your friend's uncle many more happy years in Cali!

Moving somewhere away from your experience and with no network can be daunting especially when the driver is COL.

Not to worry. OKC will be 60 degrees on Sunday. We try to be like Sacramento on occasion.
