Call it a run or whatever. I’d call it a mini dynasty but if it continues for a few more years it is a full blown dynasty. Any other team would kill to accomplish what they have achieved.

I think especially during the regular season when they finished at the #3 seed. People thought KC was done. All the attention was going to Lamar/Baltimore, SF, Dallas, etc. They totally blocked out the noise and got it done. There was also a bunch of talk how Mahomes never played a true "road" playoff game (other than the Super Bowl against Tampa) and that he was going to struggle. Never happened.

I'd say this recent stretch matches up with just about anybody other than the Brady era with the Patriots and that's a duration thing.

Steelers, Cowboys and 49ers I think they've already matched them.

Chiefs to release Marquez Valdez-Scantling(WR), and will reportedly franchise tag L’Jarius Sneed(CB).

Rookie contract, no big $$$, maybe they figure he'll end up being o.k.? MVS is who he is at this point, average with still some drop issues.

Chiefs could use another superstar wide receiver like Justin Jefferson. Rice was getting much better toward the end of the season.

It's a deep draft. They'll find someone in an early round.

Will be interesting to see what they do about Chris Jones' free agency. Whether they will pay him or let him walk.

Chiefs should do their best to keep Chris Jones. He’s arguably the best defensive tackle in the league. Pocket collapsing, and disrupting the quarterback are his specialty.
