The stigma against single, childless people (generation, problems, dating, parent)

Like many other alleged "victims" in society, childless people are attention seekers. If you were content with your choices, you would not need to justify it to anyone.
Judgemental much? To imply all childless people are attention-seeking (or justifying anything) is absurd.

What?? I'm sure *some* childless people are attention seekers just like *some* parents are attention seekers. Not everyone who is childless thinks they are a victim or seeks attention.
Seems like you're the type of judgemental person the OP is talking about.
I think this stigma only exists is in small southern towns. I used to live in one, and people thought it was bizarre that I was single (at the time), never married before, and childless - and mind you I was only in my late 20s lol. I specifically would only get serious dating women who did not want to have kids and would've had no problem staying single indefinitely otherwise. Fast forward to now, my fiance and I are in our early 30s and still do not want kids. We know multiple single people and couples around our age and older who are also childless, but part of that is we're currently living in a decent size metro. We also have many friends who do have children. If there's still a stigma against us....it would be from people who don't matter in the first place.
