Someone who feels compelled to stay up late for no apparent reason, night after night?

Why not just ask them why they don’t go to bed? No reasonable (or healthy) adult is going to fight sleep ‘for no (apparent) reason, night after night’.

Is this a roommate or significant other that you see nod off ‘night after night’ - but stays up anyway? I’d definitely think there is some sort of mental health issue at play.
I've done extensive cleanup of this thread twice. It's now closed. Rude posts, baiting, bickering and personal attacks have been deleted.
