It is not that Christians don't need any "proof" for their beliefs. It's that the kind of "proof" that would influence you is different from the kind of proof that influences believers.

Here's the kind of proof that most christians actually have: it's the religion they grew up with. End of story.

The same proof that I have by saying it of my fellow Buddhists in Thailand or the Muslims in Saudi Arabia.

Hi Shiloh, My comment ---"No, they're not and no, He doesn't."

When ya don't know a person - it seems like they're doing crazy things.
They could be putting out the trash exactly at 3 am every Wed and dinging a bell.
They polish the mailbox every Sunday...I'm making this stuff up.

THEN, you have a drink with the guy - and he tells you why he does all these things...no mystery,
not crazy now.
When you don't know the person or why they're doing the thing - "Oooo, it's a mystery."

Get to know your subject, thrill. Then it all becomes clear.
This is a basic tenet of gaining insight and knowledge...it erases speculation and asking questions of others.

Now, rem I'm not a Christian.

...which is to say, that you don't have any proof at all. You're just guessing.

On real spiritual sites people post their stories of encounters with God & Angels, & millions of other types of spiritual experiences, which prove God, Christ, is 100% active in today's world & all you have to do is become educated & you will know this.

This is sooo true! The other day I was thinking about how so many non-believers have no clue as to WHO God or Jesus is. They simply dismiss without actually seeking the answers!

God is not a scribe he does not document events
Men do that and men lie a lot
Even as we speak history is being rewritten by the spin doctors
What we know of Jesus has already been heavily edited

Romans 11:33

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how unfathomable his ways!
