It's VERY simple. Clean out your garage and park your cars in your garage and in the drive way.

When you're the ONLY residents on the entire block that is parking their cars in the street, you're doing it wrong.

If there is a HOA restriction, then report it; otherwise your claim of it being "tacky" is just an opinion...

they want to park their cars in the street then i will just paint my house easter egg purple and blue until something is done. besides it is a free country and im not breaking the law. I looked through my hoa laws doesnt say i cant paint my home a particular color.
I'd be willing to bet that if you paint your house Easter Egg Purple your obnoxious neighbors would never mention it to you or be bothered much by it. It's your house, paint it whatever color you want. Someone down the street from me painted their house bright burnt orange. It looks gaudy I think. I would never paint my house that color but it's not my house it's his house so I don't lose any sleep over it.

Sorry, as it has been pointed out, unless there is a law or HOA restriction prohibiting it, it is not wrong as you claim.

But thanks for adding your opinion to the mix. It's noted!

Guess we know who else parks their car(s) on the road.

Pffft i doubt MMM parks his precious Jeep in the road. He probably parks it in some secret underground parking garage that he had made from designs he acquired while living in Belgium.

And we also know who doesn't read the thread before posting!

But if you are so insightful, maybe you can figure out what my response would be if anyone complained to me about legally parking my car in the street!

I have to say I would be annoyed if my neighbor parked several vehicles in the street everyday. One car I have no problem with, but multiple cars would be annoying. Our neighborhood streets are somewhat narrow as is.

Then again, I seem to be the only one in my culdesac who doesn't sit in a lawn chair in my garage waving to everyone who walks by, so they probably think I'm a standoffish jerk.
