Baker is basically just a small desert town in Southern California with a major freeway running through the middle that's on the way to Las Vegas. There's not much to do there but to possibly hang around the truck stop, do lots of drugs/meth, BAKE in the blazing hot sun, or just go around town to just randomly squat or vandalize people's property (either house or trailer). Is there even a police department up there, or what? Also literally BAKES in the summer, commonly above 120°F on end, due to its proximity to Death Valley.
I stopped there a couple of times (Bob's Big Boy was great!), so trust me, I know what I'm talking about.
Still, I would not mind living there...
