Any of you who denigrate the US public schools system really need to spend some time in Africa or any other 3rd world country - you'll get a new perspective on your education and opportunities - you really can do anything you want in this country, unlike much of the rest of the world.

I spent some time in the Savannah school system (3rd and part of 4th grade). I went to Georgetown Elementary School. I got a decent education from there. I can't speak for the rest of the schools.

Poor guy... seems like he didn't enjoy his time growing up there... it's ok to vent... but he should not use his experience as a proxy for the city.
