I have COPD and the cold air shoots bullets in my lungs and my lungs are crying: Bring on the heat!

Ugh, sorry you are dealing with that.

I've been OK with it because I know (as we all do) what's coming

So I figure enjoy it while it lasts!

Hang in there...the heat will be here soon!

Too cold and too wet the past 2 months.

I tolerate heat much better than I tolerate cold.

We only live here half the time, so at least I get a break from it.

Yeah, I am sure that makes a difference...I'm one of those folks who has been here all year round...I just realized I moved here 34 years ago next month!

Sorry, but this isn't winter to me. It's more like an extended early spring.

Last night and tonite I was expecting snow to fall any minute, it was that cold. I can't walk my ferret during the day time, so I walk him at night around 9-10pm and it's been chilly, chilly, even with my Parka jacket and scarf and stocking cap. And to think, after it warms up, we may enter another chilly period coming up with more rain. Do they call this climate change?

Wet and chilly Easter!

Last minute menu change, not a good day to grill lamb outside so we found a new recipe for a North African chicken sheet pan dinner.

Mi esposo made a pan of brownies.

And we bought a better than average Italian prosecco.

Then a movie on Amazon Prime (Frida, a documentary released 2024). Highly recommend. We're big fans have been to her house in CDMX and last summer went to a photo exhibit at the Univ. of Guadalajara taken during her many surgeries and hospital stays.

You do what you can to get through this cold days.

This too shall pass; sun and warmth return on Wednesday.

I'm now convinced we're into a climate change.

Normally, California gets a good drenching, from to North to South every 7 years and they a dry period with brush/forest fires. But! 2 years in a row of drenching from North to South????? And Tucson gets drenched in the process.

I once read a climate change prediction for southern AZ and the prediction was this area will become more and more tropical.

We shall see!
