There's still local African Americans and general Black Americans living in Northwest as well, particularly LeDroit Park, Shaw, U Street, Truxton Circle, the Georgia Ave neighborhoods (Takoma, Shepard Park, Petworth, Park View, Brightwood, etc.), Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, Mount Pleasant, and even a remaining handful in Georgetown.
You'll also still find some local Whites living in Georgetown and the Upper Northwest, especially among the old money crowd.
DC's black pop is steadily decreasing. Its currently at 50%, it could dip any second.
I'll be honest....DC is becoming richer and whiter. It is going to go through a lot of gentrification throughout the next several decades and only get worse. I anticipate it will be more expensive than SF and NYC (as a whole) within the next 20 years.

who cares? people will still survive regardless of what white people do. you don't have the right to hog up everything anyway.
It's even more interesting to look at the Hispanic population. Even though NYC has one of the largest foreign born percentages, nearly half of its Hispanic population was born in New York State.
What about the nativity of African American population in both metros?
I'm just stating a fact. No need to get aggressive.
No aggression intended. Just saying, nobody's really sweating what the white folks do, because we already know how they operate, but it doesn't really matter. They don't put any fear in us, because they're not real like us. We do what we have to do, while they wait for enforcements.
