Description: The Smokies’ oldest music variety theater has celebrated more than 30 seasons, featuring shows six nights a week from April through October and a holiday show on weekends in November and December. Tickets are $21.75 for anyone 13 or older, and $7.95 for children 12 and younger. Seniors (60 and up) get a $2 discount. Anyone in a wheelchair is free. Description: Crawdaddy’s also has a fabulous balcony overlooking the Parkway. Kids are admitted here, though, and those age 10 and under even eat free. Crawdaddy’s serves up seafood, steak, ribs, and Cajun specialies (such as alligator bites, po’boys, and gumbo) and offers a full drink menu, including a diverse selection of margaritas, martinis, and signature shooters. Every night is karaoke night, year-round.

6. The Fox & Parrot Tavern—A British Pub

Description: This Smoky Mountain pub may not look exactly the same as its British brethren (it’s in a log building), but it really is the real deal, as one quick look at the menu will tell you. (See the chapter on Restaurants for more details.) The tavern offers more than 60 brands of foreign and domestic beers and ales available bottled or on tap. This is a favorite spot for locals, with the dart league playing on Thursday nights. The proprietor, Brian Papworth, is an American Anglophile with British roots.The Fox & Parrot is open until 8 p.m. from Monday through Thursday, until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
