Noted ice scoop handle lying on top of ice in ice chest; keep handle off of ice to prevent contamination of ice. corrected while on site.

Noted ice bin of ice machine missing drain pipe; water dripping on floor under ice machine. Provide bin with drain pipe to route water to floor sink under ice machine.

Soap bottle noted containing water and almost no soap. Soap bottle re-filled with soap at this time. Ensure to keep hand sink stocked with soap at all times. Do not put water in soap bottle.

Sanitizer in 3-compartmetnt sink had not been set up with chlorine; sink was not being used; chlorine added to sanitizer compartment and concentration checked at 50 ppm. Enusre to remind employees to put chlorine in water when sink is filled with water.Use test strips to monitor sanitizer for proper chlorine concentrations.

Colandeer bowl over bowl noted inside hand sink basin. The collander was going to be used for rinsing of food product. Do not obstruct hand sink to be accessible for hand washing always.Hand sink may not be used to prepare food products to prevent potential contamination of products. Colllander and bowl removed at this time. Do this procedure on 3-compartment sink after sink has been cleaned from now on.

Ok to issue permit to operate.Noted hand sink stocked and functional.Chlorine sanitizer checked at 100 ppm concentration in 3-compartment sink. Chlorine test strips are available.Refrigerators at below 40 F; freezer at 0 F.Dust and debris build-up noted under some of the equipment. Do detailed cleaning of floor under all equipment at least once weekly to keep all floor areas clean. Floor under equipment will be cleaned this day per operator.Risk category 1 assigned. Only drinks prepared in estabalsihment. No Ceretified Food Protection Manager required. No changes in operation from previous owner. Facility is currently open for business.
