General Comments that relate to this Inspection No violations noted at time of inspection.Facility only serves non-potentially hazardous foods.Notes-handsinks stocked and available; discussed proper handwashing and glove use with no issues noted.-food all served in single use cups-no reuse of cups.-food stored properly. Discussed date marking and first in; first out methods of procedures with no issues noted. -chemicals labeled and properly stored.-3 compartment sink and test strips available. Do test sanitizer to ensure proper concentration for each use. (50-100 ppm chlorine). Dishes are not currently done; but facility plans to start using bowls and spoons in infant room. Discussed proper dish washing procedures. Wehen washing dishes; don't use sponges as they can harbor bacteria. -Facility does not do any cooking projects.-Monthly snack menu posted.-Kitchen area is kept locked and is not accessible to children.

Thank you.Lunches provided by parents for individual child and snacks are provided by facility for 18 month and older. No cooking projects conducted for children at center.All snacks are all prepackaged foods such as crackers; craisins; raisins; pretzels; cereal; animal cookies; nilla wafers and individually wrapped string cheese and popsicles. All snacks served in disposable ware. Kitchen is clean and organized.Refer recorded at 38 F.

[2] Accurate thermometers; chemical test kits provided; gauge cock (1/4" IPS Valve) Observed no chemical test strips for chlorine and Quat sanitizer used at center. No chemical test kits available. Must provide chemical test kits.Do monitor chlorine/bleach (unscented) to be at levels between 50-100 ppm.Do monitor quaternary ammonia to be at levels between 200-400 ppm.Use one cap of bleach to one gallon of water and monitor to be at proper chlorine levels. Center has a 3 compartment sink and a separate designated handsink.
General Comments that relate to this Inspection Cold holding checked OK and recorded < 40 F. No food observed being prepared at time of inspection. Center serves dry goods such as crackers; craisins and other bulk non-potentially hazardous foods. Reviewed with operator the types of food that may be served at center without a certified food protection manager. Fruits and vegetables may be served except for the following:1) Melons2) Cut leafy greens3) Cut tomatoesA list of prohibited foods that cannot be served at center was given to operators at time of inspection. Discussed with operator to have all food service equipment; utensils and servingware must go through a proper wash; rinse and sanitize step.
