Found two packaged meat items; hot dogs and deli meat; that were over the expiration date. Observed a handful of different canned items that were expired as well. Items were discarded; corrected on site. Need to cull expired items from selves to prevent contamination and recommend maintaining an inventory system.The is a fridge in the back storage area that is only used for personal food storage. Need to label that food is only for employees only or not for sale.

Need to sweep and deep clean all the floors in the facility; especially in the back storage area (near the hot water heater as well).Need to install coving in the back storage area; and along the half wall near the top reach-in freezer to facilitate proper cleaning and seal all junctions. Recommend developing are more consistent deep cleaning schedule for floors in the back storage are.

Observed a large amount of unnecessary items in the back storage area; in the mop sink room; and in the front retail space. Store all personal items away from food; food preparation areas; and food contact surfaces; including dishware. Need to properly store personal items and remove all unnecessary items to facilitate proper cleaning and prevent vermin harborage.

Out-dated food including sour cream; queso duro seco (hard; dry cheese) remained on storage frig. self for sale (dates from Dec. 2013; Feb. and March). Remove all outdated foods from sale.Corrected immediately.

-no other violatins noted--storage refrigerator with dairy; eggs and other foods @ 37 F.---all foods in freezers are well-frozen--all dry foods properly stored--all foods for sale are in original container--no repackaging noted (this was a previous violation)-facility is clean and weel-maintained-Note: freezers have some build-up of ice. Should be defrosted before the weather gets hot to keep them functioning well.

Some were labeled with the name of the Ojo de Agua Produce; Dos Pasos; CA 209-392-2233.Owner agrred to remove and take these foods home with selling to public.This is not acceptable pracrice under a grocery permit. Must purchase all foods pre-packed from supplier.
