General Comments that relate to this Inspection No violations noted at time of inspection. No food observed being handled at time of inspection. Parents provide lunches and morning snack. Childcare center provides afternoon snack. Snack menu reviewed at time of inspection and childcare center is operating within its scope of its health permit. Cold holding two door refrigerator noted at 42 F at thermometer. Dairy milk temped at 43 F. Reviewed with operator to monitor cold holding to be at temperatures below 41 F. Person in charge lowered thermostat at time of inspection. Do check thermometer in refrigerator within the next hour to ensure cold holding is being held at 41 F or lower. Thermometer recorded at 40 F at recheck during inspection. Food observed properly stored. No chemicals stored above food. Dairy dates observed current and employee food stored separate from food for childcare. Handsink properly stocked with liquid soap and sanitary disposable towels. All snacks are served in disposable ware. This kitchen is also used by Grace church and operations and food storage is separate. This childcare does not conduct any food cooking activities. A certified food protecion manager is not required. No employee has taken food safety course or is scheduled to take food safety course.

Kitchen is shared with church functions.Dairy dates observed current.Snack food properly stored. No chemicals next to or above food. All snacks are served in disposable wear. Kitchen has high temp dishwasher to clean and sanitize toys and food service equipment and recorded at 180 F. Kitchen is clean and organized.Please wipe down under part of ice deflector plate on a routine basis. Observed area slightly dirty. Ice machine is serviced on a regular basis by a professional.

Some potentially hazardous items are used (e.g. string cheese) but are from individual packets kept in the fridge. Food from home is reheated in the microwave from original container from home and only for consumption by that child who brought the lunch.
