    Violation has been abated. Contact has a contract with Waste Management for monthly service for a 96 gallon container. I emailed Waste Management yesterday to confirm service. Since garbage pick is today; contact said Waste Management will drop off container next Thursday.

    Facility still does not have garbage service with the approved Garbage Franchisee of Washoe County; Waste Management. When we inspected the 2 yard dumpster out front the contact said he was using this container for all refuse including garbage and it was explained that this was not allowed. The contact was also informed that garbage from a business cannot be taken to a home residence for disposal.**All businesses and residences MUST have garbage service with the approved Washoe County Garbage Franchisee unless exempted by the local Solid Waste Authority; Washoe County Health District**

    Observed ice scoop on top of ice machine. Store ice/food scoops within separate clean container or in product with handle up to minimize hand contact with product.

    Observed pink mold growing in the ice machine. Ice machine needs to be cleaned and sanitized to remove mold and minimize cross contamination. Ice machine should be cleaned on a routine schedule to prevent mold growth;

    Facility is using bleach as sanitizer; no chemical test kits available. Must provide accurate chemical test kits. Ensue all food surface and utensils are being cleaning with a sanitizer solution no less than 50 ppm Cl with a contact time of 1 minute to facilitate proper sanitization.

    Observed debris in the reach-in freezer next to the ice machine; Unit need to be cleaned to prevent food contamination and vermin attraction.

    Observed debris and dirt on the floors in walk in fridge and in the back storage area where he ice machine is located; especially under racks and areas behind stacks of retail product. Need to deep clean floors to minimize vermin attraction.

Facility has limited sinks for cleaning ice scoop; so to ensure scoop is going to be cleaned and sanitized operator is required to use a bin cleaning system to achieve a 3 step cleaning process.
