[2] Food protected during storage; preparation; display; service; transportation - Observed an open tin can of pineapple juice in the 3-door top load cooler - Voluntarily Discarded. Corrected on-site. Once tin cans are open to the atmosphere; the contents must be immediately used or transfered to a food grade container (stainless steel or plastic) to prevent the leaching of metals from the can into the food.- Operator storing cases of Red Bull (in cans) directly under the hand sink. Do not store any customer food under the hand sink or other sinks where drains may leak. Corrected on-site.- Cold plates in use in customer ice biin. Cold plates may not be in direct contact with customer ice as they are not cleaned routinely. Utilize a separate food grade bin (e.g. bus tub) with drain holes in order to separate customer ice from cold place ice.
General Comments that relate to this Inspection OBSERVATIONS:- No potentially hazardous foods on-site at time of inspection. Popcorn snack food only.- Went over no bare hand contact regulation with operator. Gloves must be used; in conjunction with hand washing; when preparing (in direct contact) with customer foods (e.g. cutting of lemmons; limes; etc.).All hand sinks were stocked and operational.Some minor cleaning needed inside and around reach-in coolers; lids and doors. Floors; counters and other areas were relatively clean.Hot and cold water under adequate pressure at all fixtures.
