Observed good date coding on opened foods. Handwashing sink properly stocked and clean.Microwave observed clean.Chemicals properly stored and labeled. Reviewed with director "No bare hand contact to ready to eat foods." Please monitor both children and staff for proper handwashing. Staff shall wash hands prior to putting on clean food grade gloves. All children's lunch bags properly labeld with child's name.Parent's provide lunches for individual child and center provides snack. Center does not conduct any food teaching projects and does not have a food safety manager.Facility has not had employee(s) take and fail one of the recognized CFPM exams in the past year.Bathrooms observed clean and stocked.

General Comments that relate to this Inspection No violations observed at time of inspection. Lunches are reheated in microwave that are brougnt in by parents. All food service equipment must go through 3 step cleaning process:1) Wash with soapy water.2) Rinse with clear water.3) Santiize equipment in bleach and water for 1 minute with a bleach and water concentration between 50-100 ppm. All food service equipment must be fully submerged at one of the well at 2 compartment sink or in a separate plastic wash basin. Center serves snacks only. Parents provide lunch. Snacks include non potentially hazardous crackers; popcorn; cereal and fruit. Fruit juice is served. Center may cut fruits and vegetables except for the following:1) Any type of melons.2) Tomatoes;3) Cut leafy greens.All food celebrational food involves food from an approved source such as cupcakes for birthdays are purchased at grocery stores. Reviewed with operator 3 step cleaning process.

General Comments that relate to this Inspection Bulk crackers; pretzels; cereal; cookies; and fresh fruits and vegetables will be served and prepared at child care center. Center will need to acquire chlorine test kit to monitor chlorine sanitzer to be at levels between 50-100 ppm. Reviewed with operator 3-step cleaning process. All items used in food service must be washed first with soapy water; than rinsed with clear water and than sanitized with plain non scented chlorine. Use one cap of bleach to one gallon of water and check for proper chlorine concentration. Center may not prepare or cook any other types of food unless a certified food protection manager is acquired. Please contact your health inspector with any changes to snack menu or if center wishes to conduct food cooking projects with the children; The following fruits and vegetables may not be served at center:1) Melons2) Tomatoes3) Cut leafy greensPlease designate one well at the two compartment sink for "handwashing only." No other activity is to occurr in this sink. Separate plastic containers or tubs may be used for the wash; rinse and sanitize steps. The dishwasher at the center may be used to perform first two steps than followed by a sanitizer step. The container must be large enough to accomodate the largest items used for food prep. and be fully submerged. All items to be air dried after 3 step cleaning process. Please acquire test strips by 01/21/13. OK to issue health permit; OK to operate. A annual inspection will be conducted within 90 days. This inspection is unnanouced. Please post offiicial health permit onsite once received via USPS.
