We live in Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. Our house is about 3000 sq ft, 3 baths, water lawn during the summer perhaps once a week. Our bill for water and sewer is around $26
I don't know what the dollar amount is as it's included in the same bill as electricity and trash. But I do know that I'm always under the minimum which is 2000 gallons.
My water usage is way below minimum charge set by the city, and I pay $25/month
I could use twice as much and still pay the same, but I conserve water anyway.
It says I used 1970 gallons this month, that sounds high, I don't have a washing machine and I only use water to shower, flush, wash hands, and do dishes and it's $34 this month. I'm gonna have to look into it.
