Shelter, food, clothing, employment assistance, legal resources, you name it. Meanwhile, the 72 year old vet who served our country is sleeping in a tent in the woods behind Market Basket.
There are resources available to that vet also. Why is he/she not availing themselves of this assistance?

the Governor, the Mayor of Boston, both Senators from Massachusetts all support the right to shelter law.
Support different candidates. Change the law, otherwise it is what it is.
I didn't vote for any of these worthless clowns. Hopefully more will start waking up now. I know it's a big "hope", but that's all we can really do at this point.
We're careful when it comes to choosing a hotel. A lesson that was reinforced a couple of years ago when we stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Dedham. What a dump that place was.
I recently stayed in one where a bus tour pick-up was arranged (it was a long drive for me) only to find it was mostly "residential." I was wary when I saw young Hispanic males milling around outside, then horrified to see the condition of the lobby, elevator, and room itself. I spent a very uneasy night there. Never again! Guess it's easy money for these hotels, though...
The only federal benefit that a migrant can receive is emergency medical care, some states and counties have decided to give them food, clothing and a place to stay- but if that is occurring where you live and it disturbs you talk to your state or county official responsible for it.
I don't care who's doing the giving; the fact remains that they're being given EVERYTHING.
